“Durrrr” Challenge 11th session
April 7, 2009
Sunday afternoon saw the 11th Session of the heads up $200/400 pot limit Omaha match between Tom “Durrrr” Dwan and Patrik Antonius. It wasn’t the longest session in the world with a total of 154 hands being played in 24 minutes. Dwan had the best of it coming out on top to the tune of $55,634.
This win puts Dwan in the lead with an advantage of $30,577 after 7,247 hands but there is still plenty of time for Antonius to catch up on the long road to 50,000 hands.
The biggest pot of the night was taken down by Dwan and it was worth $123,997 to him. Dwan flopped top set with his KDJDJS8C whilst Antonius flopped the complete wrap draw with QH,10S,8D,7D on a JS,9H,6S board. They raised and re-raised each other all in only for a 3D to fall on the turn and a 2C to fall on the river
