Jesper Hougaard Teams Up With Bet365

Bet365 has added a new member to their team. 2008 World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelet winner Jesper Hougaard will represent the online poker room which boasts the world’s busiest poker network - Poker at Bet365.com.

As the newest ambassador, the 24 year old Danish poker player will partake in bi-weekly bounty tournaments and other activities which offer up tons of prizes. Hougaard will also represent the site in many major live tournaments like the European Poker Tour.

He attributes his interest in the game to Gus Hansen, fellow countryman and professional poker player. Jesper’s yearning to succeed was fueled even further when poker’s notoriety spread throughout Denmark a few years back. This past summer brought much success to the former Danish National Table Tennis Team ping pong player and coach. Hougaard walked away from the 2008 WSOP with over $610K in cash winnings from two events and a bracelet in the $1,500 No Limit Hold’em event.

With hopes of being an inspiration himself, Jesper will be launching his own blog on Bet365.com and write about his poker experiences. Bet365 will feature his blog on their site adjacent to their poker strategy articles and tips section.
