Ladbrokes Irish Poker Festival - October 2009

Ladbrokes players can now begin trying to secure a place in the Irish Poker Festival at the Irish National Events Centre in Killarney. The poker festival runs from 2nd-4th October and the main event has a guaranteed €250,000 prize pool. For a €500+€50 buyin players will start with deep stacks of 15,000 chips and slow blind increases every hour.

Ladbrokes’ Head of Events and Promotions, Nigel Blower said, “We’ve created a tournament that offers players a €5,000 structure for a €500 buy-in, allowing all players irrespective of bankroll to show their deep stack skills.”

For those with smaller bankrolls there are also €300 and €170 buyin tournaments, however so far there has been no guaranteed prize pool announced for these.

Last year Jimmy Sweeney from Cork took down the main event to secure a €100,000 payday - play at Ladbrokes Poker now and you could satellite your way in for as little as €5!
