Beta-Testing For Mac Software Finally Complete.

As the World Championship of Online Poker continued to roll on, PokerStars made yet another big announcement this week: the Mac-compatible version of their software is now available to the public!

The much-anticipated release had been going on for some time now, with beta testing lasting a bit longer than management had initially expected.  The world’s largest poker room is now officially a Mac-friendly room, joining the ranks of powerhouses like Full Tilt Poker, Doyle’s Room, and a handful of others, as being one of the top sites to have such software.

This was a big sigh of relief for the thousands of players who utilize Mac computers to play poker, and will undoubtedly increase the popularity of the industry giant even more.  It also came just in time for the aforementioned 2008 WCOOP, where players around the world will unite in battling it out for $30,000,000 in guaranteed prize money put up by Stars over the next week and a half.
