“Patatino” Rakes in $609K Pot on Full Tilt Poker!

A new online world record was set on Friday afternoon over at one of our favorite sites, Full Tilt Poker.

The record in for the world’s biggest online poker pot - which was rightfully set by Red Pro “Jepsen” just a few days before - would be shattered over at table high stakes $500/$1000 NL Table RailHeaven.

Ironically , the previous record pot of $499k was ALSO set at that very same table.  Now while Tom “Durrr” Dwan would be the losing party in that particular pot, his loss would be a mere memory after what transpired on Friday.

On a flop of T - 6 - 8 (2 diamonds), all the money got into the middle of the cyber felt after Patatino pushed the remainder of his stack all-in against Trex313’s initial post-flop re-raise.  After Trex made the insta-call, the pot had grown to an unreal $609,730!

What was crazier than the actual pot was the two hands that were flipped over.  Trex turned up Jd 9d for a straight flush draw, and his opponent Patatino flipped up Qd 2d for a higher flush draw!  The live cards were hoping to win it out more for Trex, and his hopes of hitting his straight were also very much on his mind as the turn and river were about to come.

Unfortunately for Trex though, neither of his hole cards paired the board, and either one of his straight cards failed to appear as well.  Patatino and his pair of 2’s - which hit on the turn - officially sweated out some pretty sick bullets to rake in the NEW record-setting online poker pot!

Patatino, who is also rumored to be billionaire Guy Laliberte, ended up taking in over a half-a-million during his session, and was actually up - or over - close to $1,000,000 in profits for the week alone at the high stakes Full Tilt tables after his big win against Trex313.
