Antonius running great in latest session of the Durrrr challenge

The pace has really picked up in this challenge with a total of 11,949 hands being played between the two of them now.

Things began around 8:30pm EST with both players buying in for $80,000 on each of the 4 tables being played.

This would turn out to be Antonius’s session. In the first big pot of the night, the betting pre-flop reached $18,000 to go. Dwan had Jc10c9s8s vs. Antonius’s 7c6h5d3c. The board flopped 10h8h4d. Antonius moved all in with the $53,493 left of his stack which Durrrr quickly calls. The 6c on the turn completes one of Antonius’s straight draws and the Ah on the river misses Durrrr’s remaining outs. The pot of $142,986 is shipped to Antonius.

In another tight pot, on a board reading As9D7D10H Dwan moves all in with AdJd10S6d which Antonius calls with his Ac10c9s7s. The 7c drops on the river to fill Antonius’s full house and him sweep the pot.

The next big hand for Antonius came soon afterwards with a raised pre flop leading to a Jc8h3h flop. After a small bet of $4800 Antonius flat calls for a 5S to fall. A check from Dwan on the turn leads Antonius to lead for $16,800 only to be check raised to $67,200 which is called by Antonius. The 4s drops on the river, with only $22,733 behind him Durrrr puts it all in which Antonius quickly calls showing 7S6h4h2c for an 8-high straight beating Dwans QsQs10h9h, a huge favourite on the flop. Again, the $196,655 pot was shifted over to Antonius.

Antonius is now leading the challenge with a $61,412 but with winning sessions of $150,000 or more not uncommon there is no reason to count Dwan out just yet.
